Headhunting Mexican Alfredo “Perro” Angulo (20-1-0, 17ko) barely broke sweat as he scored a first round knockout over Joseph Gomez (17-4-1, 8ko) due to a body shot followed up with a right hook to the side of the head at the Nido Sport Center in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico on Saturday, August 20. It was Angulo’s first fight in over one year as he seeks to reclaim his spot in the upper echelon of super welterweights.
